The Miami Hiking Club met up at Gramps Bar on April 18th for our first Happy Hour + Trail Talk!

Miami Hiking Club Founder Maria Llorens shared her experience thru-hiking the Florida Trail and spoke about the Florida Trail Association (FTA). The FTA manages all 1,500 miles of the Florida Trail, and has local chapters across the state whose volunteers maintain the trail and host outdoor events throughout the year. Ayla Shove, Vice Chair of the Big Cypress FTA Chapter, joined us and brought some fun FTA swag to share.
